Prom transportation for DMV families
Plan a clear route, the right passenger capacity and an agreed supervision plan before prom night.
Count students and adults together.
The passenger count must include every student, chaperone and other accompanying adult. For example, 24 students and two chaperones require at least 26 passenger seats. Ask the operator to confirm the assigned vehicle’s usable passenger capacity; do not assume an extra person can stand or squeeze into a seat.
Put supervision and pickup in writing.
Choose a parent or organizer who can be reached throughout the booking. Confirm the adult supervision arrangements, approved stops, pickup list and final handoff location. School requirements and a private booking’s terms may differ. Ask about communication arrangements rather than assuming that live GPS sharing is included.
Review safety information before paying.

The more complete the trip details, the easier it is to compare vehicle options and a written proposal. If a detail is undecided, say so rather than guessing.

Vehicle, price and booking details
Browse the fleet for vehicle options. Confirm the assigned bus, passenger capacity, requested amenities, total hours and any minimum charge in your quote. Your written quote and booking agreement specify the deposit, payment deadlines, cancellation/refund and weather terms. Review them before paying.
Before bringing drinks
Confirm the alcohol policy for your route and passenger ages before bringing drinks. Alcohol is not part of the transport quote. Plan alcohol-free travel for prom and other youth events.
