Compare the job each vehicle needs to do before choosing by appearance or hourly price.
Start with two lists of passengers
The wedding party may need preparation stops, photos and a ceremony arrival together. Guests may need a hotel loop and a return after the reception. Write those movements separately. The right solution could be one vehicle, multiple trips or different vehicles; the choice depends on the actual passenger counts and time between movements.
A shuttle: focus on the transfer
A shuttle is a transport role rather than one guaranteed vehicle specification. Ask about the seating layout, luggage space, steps, accessibility and capacity of the proposed vehicle. A straightforward hotel-to-venue loop can suit guests who want clear pickup times and an uncomplicated journey. Include the time for each complete loop before counting how many guests one vehicle can move.
A trolley: check the experience and limitations
If a trolley’s appearance fits the wedding, request current photographs and exact specifications from its operator. Weather exposure, climate control, boarding and road suitability vary. Test the proposed route and timing with the provider rather than assuming every trolley is ideal for short trips or unable to cover longer ones.
A party bus: match the group and features
A party bus may suit a wedding party traveling between photo locations or to an after-party. Check passenger capacity with the photographer and accompanying adults included. Confirm the specific interior, music connection, storage and any restroom on the bus offered. Features in a general fleet gallery are not a guarantee for every vehicle.
Compare using the same questions
For each option, ask: Can everyone board comfortably? Does the vehicle fit the venue’s loading area? How many trips are needed? Is waiting included? How will late departures be handled? What happens if the vehicle changes? Price the same date and itinerary so a difference in included hours does not look like a bargain.
Be explicit about the supplier
